Left on 56th, right on Wildhorse Pass Rd., across I-10, left onto Maricopa Rd., right onto SR-347, right onto SR-238, right onto SR 85-Pima Rd., stop in Gila Bend for gas. West on I-8 to Ogilby Rd (exit 159). North on Ogilby (S-34) to CA-78, left on CA-78 to gas stop (Pilot Travel Center, 234 Ben Hulse Hwy, Brawley, CA). Continue west on Ben Hulse, right on 8th St., left on D St. to Jonny’s Burritos (490 D St, Brawley, CA) for lunch. Return to CA-78/86 & continue west to Julian. Brief rest stop in Julian (no gas), then continue south on CA-79 to I-8. West on I-8 to exit 16
Hotel: Days Inn, 683 N Mollison, El Cajon. $100+ per night.
Day 2: Short morning ride led by El Patron to Seaport Village for San Diego Seal Tours on Saturday, (40 minutes on land/60 minutes at sea, reservations are required) Use Promo Code EPH0G25. Adult ticket from $53.41 each. Flyer is posted to the Foothills HOG FB Page. Lunch after the tour near Seaport Village TBD. El Patron guided ride back to ride the hotel
Day 3:
KSU at hotel 0730. South on Mollison, left on Chase Ave., right on Jamacha Rd (CA54), left on Willow Glen Dr, right on Steele Canyon Rd, left on Campo Rd (CA-94), about 34 miles to Circle K (31471 CA-94, Campo, CA). Continue on Campo Rd. *CROSS JEWEL VALLEY RD* and then it becomes Old Hwy 80. Continue on 80 to I-8, exit 87 onto CA-98. Take CA-98 through Calexico, right turn on Imperial to Speedway (824 Imperial Ave, Calexico) for gas/rest. Right on Imperial back to CA-98, right on CA-98, to I-8. Exit in Yuma onto US95, stop at Circle K (1416 E 16th St). Continue to Black Bear Diner (1590 S. Pacific Ave.) for 2nd breakfast or lunch, then return to I-8 to Gila Bend (option: stop in Dateland). Chevron in Gila Bend, then the usual route returning to SHD.
Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member. All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Foothills Chapter #5117 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy
Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Foothills Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
