Usual route to Payson. Continue through Payson to the Maverik at 715 N Beeline Hwy, Payson, AZ 85541. 

Get gas. Use the restroom.

Continue north on SR 87 to the traffic circle for Airport Rd, take the 3rd exit and continue on Airport Rd. to Crossinds Restaurant, 800 W Airport Rd. B, Payson AZ.

Eat. Enjoy. 

Turn left on Airport Rd and go to 87 Continue north on SR 87, then turn left at SR 260. Continue to Camp Verde, get gas at the 76 station (not on the map), then turn right on S Main St, turn right onto Montezuma Castle Hwy, bear left to stay on Montezuma Castle Highway, then turn right onto Montezuma Castle Rd., and follow that to the visitor center parking lot. 

Admission is $10. Pay it. Wander around. Be glad you don’t live in a rock. 

Return is group choice. I-17 is fastest, but we hate I-17. Consider returning via Dewey-Humbolt. I-17 south to SR 169, SR 169 west to SR 69, SR 69 north/west through Prescott to SR 89, then SR 89 south through Yarnell to US 93, then the usual route back through Wickenburg, etc. You’ll need a gas stop in Prescott and/or Wickenburg

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Foothills Chapter #5117 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Foothills Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
